PROJECT – Royal Liver Buildings Liverpool goods lift replacement. (Grade I listed Building)
The Challenge
To retain the original cross corner guide configuration of the original lift due to its listed building status, and provide a new, reliable, goods lift because of the ongoing poor reliability of the existing unit.
The Solution
Using an innovative approach, the lift was designed in such a way that it could retain the cross-corner guides to the delight of the client. Thinking outside the box, our bespoke solution and selected equipment, delivered a new, robust, reliable goods lift that would serve the high demands of the site.
The Afters
Previous works undertaken by others on this lift had not improved reliability. Our solution has not only provided the site with a reliable lift, but it has also improved energy efficiency and running costs.
